BREAKING NEWS: An Oconee County sheriff’s deputy was hit by a vehicle Thursday morning while directing traffic in front of an elementary school. The Georgia State Patrol originally told Channel 2 the officer had been killed, but they then called back and said the officer was still alive but in "grave condition."
